The 2024 HighSchoolOT All-State Girls Wrestling Team

Lumberton, Jack Britt, and Havelock led the way with three selections each. The first-of-its-kind team has a first team and a second team with two wrestlers per weight class, then 12 honorable mention wrestlers regardless of weight class.

Highlights: East Rowan baseball downs Mooresville

The Mustangs (12-1) stayed undefeated at home this season with a 13-hit performance along with seven stolen bases. Freshman Sam Blackwelder had a team-high three RBIs and sophomore Harrison Ailshie had two RBIs on two doubles.

East Rowan, West Rowan pick up tournament wins; No. 8 Northwest Guilford falls

Northwest Guilford had four errors against West Rowan, while East Rowan had 13 hits against Mooresville.
