Final Rankings: Lumberton girls wrestling takes top honor in inaugural statewide tournament top 25

HighSchoolOT's first girls wrestling tournament rankings conclude with Lumberton leading the way.

Lumberton won the inaugural N.C. High School Athletic Association state tournament championship. No. 4 Hoke County won the unofficial state dual-team title over No. 23 Swain County.

In total, 15 teams from the midseason top 25 made the final statewide rankings, with No. 7 Mount Pleasant the highest-ranked team who was unranked. Havelock, which was No. 1 at midseason, finished in third.

The full statewide top 25 rankings are below, with NCHSAA tournament scores. There were some ties, which were broken by the highest state placer.

The HSOT all-state team will be released in the coming weeks.
