A young girl sold Girl Scout cookies to nearly a dozen people in Suffolk County, New York for cash only. But the cookies never showed up. Now, residents are concerned about the girl who was posing as a Girl Scout.

It's not clear who the man is or his relationship with the girl, but the Girl Scouts said in a statement, they are working with law enforcement and would encourage anyone who believes they were a victim to contact Suffolk police and they will provide cookies to anybody who placed a bogus order. I'm not worried about the cookies or the money. It's just what happened to that little girl

It's Girl Scout cookie time! 

Girl Scouts rely on cookie sales to fund camping trips and other adventures. This year, the organization is yearly traditions. 

They asked me what my favorite one and I say This'll one. That's my favorite, too. Nobody likes those. It's that time of year when seven year old sales people make their best pitch. This year, Girl scouts like Riley Brown have a choice door to door sales way have to wear mask or online. Covad, 19, has the Girl Scouts making a push for digital cookie orders and contact free delivery through grubhub. I think they're also learning how to pivot, how to course correct, how to be resilient and persistent in a way that perhaps they never had before. And I think that's probably the gift of co vid this year is that we're all learning those skills are girls included? It's a little different than last year. Isn't it way different? You might have brought boxes of cookies, toe work in the past or bought Girl Scout cookies from a co worker. We used to sell a couple 100 boxes of cookies at work, and now all of that is gone. Cookie sales aren't just a fundraiser. Girl Scouts learned entrepreneurial skills and financial skills this year. They're learning determination to it still can be done. There's still ways to get things done, even though we are in this global pandemic. Yes, I love the new one. What's the new one? Give me your sales pitch for the new one. My mom has had a little bite out of it. It's shaped like this and it has some icing on the bomb. I'll take a box or 10.
