'Total loss': Cumberland County home destroyed in fire
When fire crews arrived on scene around 8:48 p.m., the house was engulfed in flames. The fire department said the home is a total loss.

LINDEN, N.C. — A fire destroyed a Cumberland County home Thursday night.
When fire crews got to the home on Dusty Lane around 8:48 p.m., the house was engulfed in flames. The fire department said the home was a total loss.
Two people are left without a home, but no one was hurt.
The Westarea, Fayetteville, Spring Lake, Harnett County Flat Branch and Wade fire departments responded to the fire.
Investigators do not suspect foul play or arson. The fire has been deemed accidental.
