Reward offered for information on vandalized memorial to teens killed in Orange County

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is offering a reward for information about the vandalism of a memorial for two teens who were killed.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is offering a reward for information about the vandalism of a memorial for two killed teens.

The memorial for Devin Clark and Lyric Woods was found vandalized on Friday by people visiting the site.

Clark was 18 years old and Woods was 14 at the time of their deaths. They were killed on Sept. 17, 2022, in western Orange County.

The remains of two missing teenagers were discovered, after they had been missing for more than a day. Two men riding ATVs discovered their bodies.

Upon learning of the vandalism, members of the community were outraged and determined to take action. They gathered together and scrubbed away the graffiti.

"Sunday is the anniversary of Devin and Lyric's death. Sadly, one or more people did not treat the site with the respect it deserves," Orange County Sheriff Charles Blackwood said. "I am offering a $3,500 reward for information that leads to the identification and prosecution of the person or persons who committed this crime."
