Berkeley Cafe is preparing for its final live music shows this weekend before closing. But don't worry, the historic venue will reopen in 2024.
The owners of Raleigh's oldest music venue announced in August that they found a new location to call home.
According to the venue's Facebook page, Berkeley Cafe will be moving to 428 South Dawson St.
The owners of The Berk said the popular venue would be moving locations due to rezoning happening at their current location on West Martin Street.
"While we will miss our home on West Martin, we are thankful to be able to stay in the neighborhood," the owners' Facebook post said.
The Berk will be reopen in early 2024.
Berkeley Cafe is located at 217 West Martin Street.
