Two Fort Liberty soldiers were arrested after investigators searched and found illegal drugs in their Spring Lake home.

On Monday, the Harnett County Sheriff's Office along with the Fort Liberty Criminal Investigation Division searched the home on Swain Street in Spring Lake.

The search warrant was part of a Fort Liberty investigation looking into two soldiers: Travis Charles Rahmer and Ryan Christopher Wallen.

Investigators found at the home 32 psilocybin mushrooms, a Schedule I drug, along with 10 dosage units of Adderall, a Schedule II drug.

Both Rahmer and Wallen were charged with felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and two counts of simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. The soldiers were taken to the Harnett County Jail and were both given a bond of $5,000.

The investigation is ongoing.
