I read a story about Family Dollar closing 1,000 of their stores.  They are closing 1,000 of their stores because of inflation. They are struggling for discounts for low-income families. I think that its sad, because dollar stores are always helpful.

The story that caught my eye is about a Wilmington mother who was charged with the murder of her daughter while the daughter was sleeping. I hope they put the woman in jail. I hope she's brought to justice. I hope she doesn't escape from jail.

My story is about houses on fire in downtown North Raleigh at 3:00 in the morning. One of the houses had a tiny flame on top of the roof and the other had a big one on the side. No one knows how the fire started. They're still trying to figure it out.

The article I am writing about is a crash that happened in Wake Forest. The crash involved two vehicles on eastbound Durham Road, Highway 98 near Flaming House Street. The crash was causing major delays and motorists were urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route. Two people were transported to a nearby hospital.

I found a really good story, y’all will like this one. St. Patrick’s Day deals: Krispy Kreme doughnuts are selling donuts for free on St. Patrick’s Day. I would like to get myself a free doughnut. Have a great day everyone, and stay safe.

On Wednesdays early in the morning in Raleigh NC there was a house whose roof got on fire. It started with big strong flames and it went to the house beside it. It had started to get on fire as well. This guy saw it on the way to his work and he had called 911.

The story that I picked is about a shooter on the loose after a 16-year-old boy, and a five-year-old girl were shot in Durham. The reason why I picked that one is because that is so sad. It said that both kids were going to be ok because they had non-life-threatening injuries. Another reason is, who would do that to kids that are so mean? That is why I picked this one.
