As of Tuesday evening, 14 license plates that were captured on camera on Jan. 28 are blacklisted. There were street racing inside parking decks and they got caught on camera. Warning letters will be delivered to the owners. Anyone who drives through or damages a parking gate can be fined.

My story is about teachers calling out of work. Eleven schools in Durham called out due to being underpaid. There is a protest today. The first protest will take place at 10 a.m. and one at 2 p.m.

The story that caught my eye is about a man arrested after crashing into a tree on Glenwood Avenue. The car was traveling down Glenwood Avenue when the driver lost control near Peach Street. The car hit a tree before landing on its side. A man and woman were in the car at the time of the crash. They both were checked out at the scene by an ambulance. The driver had an outstanding warrant and was arrested. WRAL News is working to learn what the warrant was out for and whether he'll be faced with any charges for the crash.         

A Marine stationed at a Camp Lejeune base has been arrested after authorities say they shot and killed a person. The marine expeditionary force says a Marine at Camp Lejeune has been taken into custody after the shooting of the civilian. The MEF says the shooting happened Saturday morning while the victim was on the base.

The story I will be talking about is about the man that got arrested after crashing into the tree in Glenwood. He got arrested for having a warrant out for his arrest. I wonder why he ran into the tree. It doesn't say anything about him being drugged or anything like that. He could have been on the phone talking to someone because he clearly was not paying attention to the road while driving. 

I am writing about a story that is about two people that have been charged with abuse charges with their dog. They have seen several dogs neglected in their home. Mother and son are facing four charges of cruelty to animals for the treatment of the dogs.  

The story that caught my eye is a man is hospitalized after a shooting near Holly Springs. I hope the man is okay after the shooting. They better find the menace that shot the man. I hope they catch him/ her and bring them to justice.

The story that I picked is, Durham public schools employees called out ‘sick’ due to pay concerns. The reason that I picked this one is because the people that work in schools do not get paid enough. Another reason why I picked this one is because teachers need more money because they do so much. The last reason why I picked this one is because some people do not think that teachers need more money but they do. That is why I picked this one.

An 8-year-old girl is gone. The police are trying to find the girl. They are very concerned and want to find the girl. The search is still ongoing.

I just saw a juicy story so, let’s jump right in. There was an amber alert of an 8-year-old girl missing from Duplin County. An 8-year-old girl, she's really young. I just hope she’s okay and the police save her. Just keep a smile on your face Callie. I hope you read this.
