The story that attracted my eye is that a Raleigh man fired a semi-automatic rifle into occupied vehicles in Western Boulevard. He has been charged in connection with a shooting along Western Boulevard from Dec. 19. Warrants show that Quincy Phillips, 18, is facing multiple counts of several charges for offenses that shut down the busy roads and closed numerous surrounding businesses on Dec. 19. Two people were hurt. He was charged with four counts with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or seriously injured.

The story that I picked was two charges in the death of a woman found on N.C. 902 in Chatham County. The reason why I picked this is that her body was found along the roadside on the highway. Also, why would someone do that, that is just bad. The last reason is why would they just leave her on the bad highway. That is why I picked this one.

A Raleigh man is accused of shooting into two cars on Western Boulevard. Two people were taken to the hospital because they were shot. The shooting happened on Dec. 19.  I am glad he is in jail because many people could have been hurt.

I read a story about a man who faces new charges. Kevin Johnson walks out of prison, but Kevin is in trouble with the law again. He faces a list of drug and gun charges. I was surprised that he was doing more crimes.

They are building NC's first Buc-ee's in Mebane NC. Buc-ee's is known for food, shopping, and big, clean bathrooms. I can't wait for them to come closer.
