Woman thrown from motorcycle in fatal Fayetteville crash

Police have identified the woman who died in a motorcycle crash in Fayetteville on Sunday afternoon.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police have identified the woman who died in a motorcycle crash in Fayetteville on Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the area of Santa Fe Drive at the All American Freeway area shortly before 3 p.m. and found the motorcyclist, identified as Viviana Elizabeth Coria, 42, of Hedrick Drive. Coria was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, Coria was driving her motorcycle on Santa Fe Drive when another driver made a turn in front of her.

The car and the motorcycle collided, and Coria was thrown from her motorcycle. Police say she was then struck by a Dodge Ram. She died at the scene.

Police have also not yet said if anyone has been charged in connection with the incident.
