Woman's weeks-long disappearance leads Greensboro police to ask public for help in search

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A weeks-long disappearance in Greensboro for a missing woman has authorities concerned.

Marissa Carmichael was last seen on Jan. 14 in Greensboro at an Exxon station on Market Street. A missing persons alert went out for the 25-year-old Carmichael on Jan. 17.

"Our department is increasingly concerned for her welfare," read a release from Greensboro police. "We are urging anyone in the community with information on her whereabouts to come forward and help reunite her with her family."

Greensboro detectives have conducted more than a dozen interviews and obtained several surveillance videos while gathering information.

Anyone with information that could help in the search is asked to call Greensboro/Guliford Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.
