Wolf alert: Man breaks into NC State residence hall

"NC State University Police have received a report of a burglary that occurred at Wood Hall A," the wolf alert said.

NC State sent out a wolf alert Wednesday morning about a reported burglary in a residence hall.

"NC State University Police have received a report of a burglary that occurred at Wood Hall A," the wolf alert said.

It was reported that a person entered the suite through an unlocked window in the common area. Those in the suite woke up, and the suspect fled on a bicycle heading east toward downtown Raleigh.

"We are still actively investigating and gathering information to determine fully what items were taken," the NC State Police Department said.

Police said no one was injured.

The victims provided the following description of the suspect:

  • Man
  • 18 to 20 years old
  • Wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants, gray backpack and white shoes
