For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico...

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Hanna...located about 55 miles north-northwest of Norfolk
Virginia...and on Hurricane Ike...located about 135 miles
east of Grand Turk island.

The remnants of Josephine...a low pressure area...are located about
850 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands. The associated shower
activity is currently minimal...and upper-level winds are not
favorable for re-development.

Elsewhere...tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the
next 48 hours.
