Hi. can you tell me how many 90+ days we had in 2007 either by month or total? is this information available in table form anywhere on your website.

MIKE MOSS SAYS:      Rick,      There were 83 days in 2007 with temperatures reaching 90 degrees or more at the Raleigh-Durham airport. This broke the old RDU record of 72 days, set back in 1953, and is far above the normal yearly total of 39.

You can check this kind of information using the "Get historical data" link on our our almanac page. Once you go to a date in 2007, just switch the view from "daily" to "monthly" and you can scan a table of daily observations to see how many hight temperatures reached the threshold.
