DOT works to extend Louis Stephens Drive under NC 540

A small section of 540 -- from the NC-55 interchange to NC-147 -- will close twice daily for the next few weeks. Expect 10-minute closures of both directions around 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. except on Sundays and during Thanksgiving weekend.
