Victoria's Secret brought back their swimwear line this year, but many excited shoppers took to social media to complain about the company's high pricing and limited size options.

Earlier this month, L Brands, the parent company of the lingerie brand, announced plans to close 53 of over 1,000 Victoria’s Secret stores in North America.

Like many retailers, Victoria's Secret is struggling to compete with online shopping -- but some unsatisfied customers cite the brand's expensive pricing, lack of inclusively in advertisements and limited sizes for its apparent downfall.

The new swimsuits for sale on the Victoria's Secret website appear to start at $32 for a bikini top and an additional $28 for a matching bottom. One-piece swimsuits start at $62 and top out around $78.

It's not just the prices that are turning customers away. Victoria's Secret brand swimsuits appear to come in only sizes extra-small to large. Extra-large sizes and cup sizes for women with larger chests are not listed.

TODAY reported that, in 2017, the brand also found itself in hot water when it published its annual “What Is Sexy?” roundup, which featured predominantly thin, white women.

The brand also received backlash in 2018 when Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razek gave an interview to Vogue Magazine stating that the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show shouldn’t include “transsexuals” because the show is a “fantasy.” Razek also dismissed the idea of using plus-size models, stating: “We attempted to do a television special for plus-sizes [in 2000]. No one had any interest in it, still don't.”
