RALEIGH, N.C. — Treat yourself this Valentine's Day! It doesn't matter if you're single or committed -- take time to celebrate you this week with sweet treats, spa treatments, DIY crafts, cute animals and more!

DIY workshops: Learn something new! SkillPop hosts classes in a variety of a categories - baking, art, flower arrangement, charcuterie board making and even woodworking! Here's a list of upcoming classes.

Pro tip: If you're on Facebook, go to the "events" section and search for "crafts" near you. Many breweries, boutiques, gift shops and bars host pop-up craft events, especially around Valentine's Day, and this is a great way to find them!

Paint and sip: We all love Wine and Design, with locations scattered across the Triangle and a new location in Clayton, but you can also check out class schedules at other local-owned paint and sip businesses:

Need to save money? Head over to Five Below, where you can find paint-by-numbers, inexpensive canvases and paints and other DIY crafts to enjoy in the comfort of your home.

Get tickets to a show: Treat yourself to concert tickets (here's a list of upcoming concerts in the Triangle), see the North Carolina Symphony in Raleigh or catch a musical or show at DPAC. Upcoming events include Dancing With The Stars Live, David Foster & Katharine McPhee and Peter Pan: The Musical. Andrea Bocelli is coming to PNC Arena on Feb. 14 for a special Valentine's Day show!
Get some popcorn: Asheville-based Poppy Hand-Crafted Popcorn has a three special flavors for Valentine's Day - Cotton Candy, Salted Caramel and Dark Chocolate Cherry! Raleigh-based Ella's Popcorn also has some great options for Valentine's Day, including Chocolate Peanut Butter, Strawberry Hibiscus and Cocoa Berry.
Charcuterie: Check out Vita Vite with two locations (one in downtown Raleigh and another at North Hills) and Snacks Provision Co. in Clayton for all your charcuterie needs. You can enjoy wine and cheese on site or get a plate to take home.

Adopt a pet: The Wake County Animal Center in Raleigh is running a Valentine's Day adoption special and is reducing adoption fees to $25 for dogs and $5 for cats through Feb. 16. You can also check out these upcoming adoption events:
Book a spa appointment: Some spas offer Valentine's Day specials for gift cards and spa services. Do your research and schedule time to pamper yourself.
Run in your underwear for a good cause! Cupid's Undie Run kicks off Feb. 17 at Motorco Music Hall with drinking and dancing. Proceeds support those affected by NF, a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body.
