Posted — UpdatedAn update to an earlier post: Apex United Methodist Church's annual Prom Shoppe has changed its dates because of some scheduling issues.
Now in its ninth year, the Apex Prom Shoppe will be 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., March 16, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., March 17, at the church at 100 S. Hughes St., Apex.
As always, there is no cost to the girls for any of the items that they find. They also don't need to bring any documentation or proof of need. Organizers tell me that during the past several years, teens have had more than 1,000 dresses to choose from.
Organizers also could use your donations. They are looking for dresses, accessories, shoes and unopened makeup. They particularly need plus size dresses and larger sized shoes.
Here are the donation locations:
Mon-Thurs. 8am-4pm
Apex, NC 27502
Morrisville, NC 27560
