North Carolina Tar Heels guard RJ Davis is among four players who are finalists for the 2024 Naismith Men's College Basketball Player of the Year award.

Davis is joined by Purdue center Zach Edey, Tennessee fifth-year guard Dalton Knecht and Houston senior guard Jamal Shead.

The winner will be announced on April 7 at the Naismith Awards Brunch during the Final Four in Phoenix.

Davis averaged 21.4 points (40.6% from 3-oint range), 3.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He dropped 30 or more points in four games, including a career-high 42 against Miami.

Davis also earned ACC Player of the Year honors after leading the conference in scoring. UNC finished first in the ACC standings with a 15-3 record.

Last year, Edey won the award over Kansas' Jalen Wilson, Indiana's Trayce Jackson-Davis and Gonzaga's Drew Timme.
