MOORE COUNTY, N.C. — A truck crashed into a Verizon store following a two-vehicle collision Saturday night in Moore County.

Authorities said a Ford Focus and a Ford F-250 truck collided on U.S. Highway 15-501 just before 9 p.m. and the impact caused the truck to go through the front entrance of the store.

The driver of the Ford Focus was taken to First Health Moore Regional Hospital with serious injuries, authorities said.

One person in the F-250 was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.

Authorities have not said what caused the initial crash.
