Two taprooms closing downtown Raleigh locations
Clouds Brewing and New Anthem Beer each posted on Instagram they will close their doors in downtown Raleigh. Clouds' other Raleigh taproom location at 1233 Front St. will remain open.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Clouds Brewing will close its downtown Raleigh taproom at 126 N. West St., according to a post on Instagram.
Clouds' other Raleigh taproom location at 1233 Front St. will remain open.
New Anthem Beer at 500 N. West St. also posted it will close its doors.
Both breweries said numerous reasons factored into their decisions, including several out of their control, such as the lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Clouds Brewing said the last day at the N. West St. location, which has been open for 10 years, will be April 7.
