Two men carjacked, assaulted man in Cary, police say
Police are searching for two men they say carjacked a man Tuesday in Cary.The victim told police two men approached him while he was sitting in his pickup truck on Green Landing Drive. One of the men then pulled him from the vehicle while holding a gun.

According to the Cary Police Department, officers received a call at 7:55 p.m. to the 3400 block of Green Landing Drive for a carjacking.
The victim told police two men approached him while he was sitting in his pickup truck. One of the men then pulled him from the vehicle while holding a gun.
The suspects then drove away from the scene in the victim’s truck.
Police said they are searching for a stolen red 2004 Chevy Avalanche with an NC license plate TLY-3707. The vehicle had an aftermarket 2-inch lift kit with oversized tires.
The victim suffered minor injuries consistent with being pulled from a car, according to police.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
