A deadly crash on U.S. Highway 70 Business near Garner has closed down all westbound lanes near Auburn Knightdale Road. 

<b>GARNER, N.C.</b> — Two people were killed in a head-on crash on U.S. Highway 70 Business near Garner.

Two cars were involved in a head-on collision just after 2 a.m. Monday.

Two people, 43-year-old Jermaine Maurico Bass of Garner and 50-year-old Louis Mary Joachim of Clayton, were killed in the crash. A boy was also taken to WakeMed with very serious injuries, police said.

Police said they are investigating the accident as a wrong-way crash, but it is unclear which car was going the wrong way.
