RALEIGH, N.C. — Here's what's happening at the General Assembly on Thursday, June 20:
  • House Regulatory Reform takes up two bills related to affordable housing, one to make cities report their inventory and the other to make financing such development easier. (11 a.m., 1228/1327 LB)
  • The Senate convenes at noon and will debate allowing terminally or chronically ill patients to experiment with adult stem call treatments.
  • The House will consider increasing fees on bounced checks and will take a final vote on legislation mandating a minimum size for fish caught commercially or recreationally during its 1 p.m. floor session.
