Three people hospitalized in Goldsboro shooting, police notified by ShotSpotter

Three people had non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting Wednesday afternoon, Goldsboro police said.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Three people are recovering after getting shot Wednesday afternoon, Goldsboro police said.

A ShotSpotter alert notified police to multiple rounds of gunfire around 3:39 p.m. at 518 East Elm St.

Police found out the three people shot took a personal car to the Emergency Department at UNC Health Wayne.

All three people had non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
