WRAL-TV wins 9 regional Emmy Awards, including news excellence
WRAL-TV was recently honored with nine Emmy Awards at the 37th National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ (NATAS) Midsouth Chapter awards ceremony, including the highest honor of News Excellence.
This is a major accomplishment for WRAL, as it follows the station's recent success in winning a regional Edward R. Murrow award for Overall Excellence and an RTDNAC Outstanding News Operation award.
The Emmy awards, which honor excellence in television, were awarded for the following categories:
