WRAL Nights of Lights to reopen for Christmas Eve finale

WRAL Nights of Lights plans to reopen on Christmas Eve 2022 after closing Friday night due to storm damage.

Organizers were back on the site this morning assessing the damage, and while some lights are not repairable, they say most of the route will be lit and ready for holiday visitors.

Christmas Eve is the final night of the event, and tickets are still available at wralnightsoflights.com.

WRAL Nights of Lights is the drive-through holiday lights experience at Dorothea Dix Park.

54 mph wind gusts on Friday knocked down several light displays, and permanently damaged some of them. But crews are working through the day on Christmas Eve to ensure the best experience possible for holiday light lovers.
