Woman hurt in stabbing at Raleigh's Moore Square

Raleigh police are investigating a stabbing at Moore Square on Wednesday evening.

One woman was taken into custody. Another woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being cut.

The stabbing is believed to have stemmed from a fight that escalated.

Officers were seen collecting evidence around 6 p.m. along Blount Street. The call for help came in just before 4:30 p.m.
