Ahead of Hurricane Florence, many schools have announced changes and cancellations to class schedules, and many events around the Triangle have been canceled. This is a complete list:

Schools

Many local colleges, universities and school districts, including Wake, Durham and Cumberland counties, have made changes to class schedules this week. For a full list of closings click here.

Entertainment and music

• Dreamville Festival scheduled for Sept. 15 in Raleigh is canceled. No reschedule date announced yet.
• BugFest scheduled for Sept. 15 in Raleigh is canceled. No reschedule date announced yet.
• SparkCon scheduled for Sept. 13-16 is canceled. No reschedule date announced yet.
• The Lonely Heartstring Band and Circus No. 9, as well as the youth jam, that were originally scheduled for Sept. 16 has been canceled. Rescheduled date TBA.
• Raleigh Little Theatre has moved its concert with The Connells with Dillon Fence and the Mayflies USA at the Stephenson Amphitheater from Sept. 15 to Sept. 29.
• The Fall Pops Concert with the Raleigh Symphony in the Stephenson Amphitheatre, which was scheduled for Sept. 16 at 2 p.m., will now happen on Sept. 23 at 3 p.m.
• Downtown Raleigh Home Show scheduled for Sept. 14-16 in Raleigh is canceled. Anyone who purchased a ticket can use that ticket to attend the Southern Ideal Home Show next weekend at the State Fairgrounds, the Downtown 2019 Raleigh Home Show or the 2019 Southern Ideal Home Show. The amount paid for the ticket can also be transferred as a donation to Habitat for Humanity. ​
• 4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Price scheduled for Thursday at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh has been moved to Oct. 8. Tickets purchased for the original date will be honored on Oct. 8.
• Entrepalooza, N.C. State's annual festival of entrepreneurship and innovation, has been moved from Thursday to Sept. 20.
• Clayton Chamber of Commerce’s Clayton Harvest Festival has been rescheduled from Sept. 12-16 to Oct. 31 to Nov. 4
• The Pickin’ In The Pines concert has been rescheduled from Sept. 12 to Oct. 3
• Durham's Centerfest Arts Festival has been canceled. A reschedule date was not available.
• The Zac Brown Band concerts scheduled to play PNC Music Pavilion Charlotte on Sept. 13 and Coastal Credit Union Music Park Raleigh on September 14 have been canceled. Refunds available at point of purchase.
• The Steven Wright performance scheduled for the Carolina Theatre of Durham on Sept. 14 has been postponed to Oct. 10. All tickets purchased for the Sept. 14 performance in Durham will be valid for Oct. 10.
• The Hoppin' John Old-Time Fiddlers' Convention has been moved from Sept. 13-15 to Oct. 18-20.
• "The Music of Queen" at Meymandi Concert Hall has been postponed from Sept. 15 to to Friday, March 22, 2019 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the original date will be valid on the new date. Ticket holders who are unable to attend on the rescheduled date are asked to please contact the North Carolina Symphony box office at 919.733.2750 or tickets@ncsymphony.org.
• Carnaval Latino in Garner has been rescheduled from Sept. 15 to Sunday, Sept. 30.
• CenterFest in Durham, which was planned for Sept. 15-16, has been canceled.
• The N.C. State Fairgrounds announced that the Korean Festival, scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed. Other events this weekend at the fairgrounds will also not happen. This includes the Raleigh Flea Market and NC State Championship Horse Show.
• The Fall Out Boy concert scheduled to play Greensboro Coliseum on Sept. 14 has been rescheduled to take place on Sept.18. Tickets purchased for the concert will be honored night of show, no exchange necessary.
• Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, composer John Ondrasik, aka Five For Fighting, has canceled shows this weekend in Charlotte and Carrboro
• NCAEYC will not be holding the 65th Anniversary Conference September 13-15 at the Raleigh Convention Center. This includes the 65th Anniversary Gala scheduled to take place Thursday, September 13 at Marbles Kids Museum.
• The Niall Horan concert scheduled for Sept. 17 in Raleigh has been canceled

Sporting events

• N.C. State will not host No. 14 West Virginia Saturday. There is no official word as to whether or not the game is canceled or will be rescheduled.
• North Carolina's football home opener versus Central Florida is canceled. All tickets purchased through Carolina Athletics for the game will be automatically refunded.
• East Carolina football will not travel to Virginia Tech. “It is ECU’s hope the game can be rescheduled at a later date this season," the athletic department said in a statement Tuesday.

Other closures

• The North Carolina Zoo will be closed through Friday in order to make preparations for the incoming storm
• Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville was scheduled to open on Saturday for the season, this is the first year it won't open on time in 50 years.
• Ken's Korny Corn Maze in Garner, which is scheduled to open next weekend, a phone message said they still hope to open next week, but not to expect a return call until after the hurricane passes.
• Hubb's Farm in Clinton, which was slated to open this weekend and features a corn maze that's more than 10 acres, along with other activities, now plans to open Sept. 22 instead.
• Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville is closed through Friday
• Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park will be closing on Friday through at least Sunday as a safety precaution due to the potential impact from heavy rain, high winds and rising water
