Dave Matthews Band (Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek, 3801 Rock Quarry Rd., Raleigh) - The band brings its summer tour to Raleigh on Friday.

Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling (Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek, 3801 Rock Quarry Rd., Raleigh) - The band is teaming up with violinist Lindsey Stirling for this show on Saturday night.

Summerfest: Annual Beach Party with North Tower Band (Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - The legendary North Tower Band will hit the stage Saturday for this concert at Booth Amphitheatre in Cary.

Cabaret (Playmakers, 120 Country Club Rd., Chapel Hill) - "Cabaret" is the culmination of PlayMakers' Summer Youth Conservatory, a six-week practicum for high school students, both on stage and behind the scenes--combining top-notch teaching with unparalleled practical experience. Students work with professional directors, choreographers, musical directors, and theatre technicians to mount a professional quality production for all to enjoy. The show runs through July 29.

You Are Here (NCMA, 2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh) - It is the final weekend to check out this immersive art exhibit featuring installations by 15 contemporary artists, including large-scale light works, sound installations, video works, mixed-media room-size environments, and site-specific projects.

Big Fish (Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Kennedy Theatre, 2 East South Street, Raleigh) - Theater Raleigh presents this production, which tells the tale of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest. Edward’s incredible stories thrill everyone around him – most of all his devoted wife, Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales. The show runs through Sunday.

Marvel vs. DC Burlesque Show (The Maywood, 658 Maywood Avenue, Raleigh) - The Marvel and DC universes are competing during this burlesque show at The Maywood Saturday night.

Kayak and Craft Beer Tour (Beer Study 2501 University Drive, Durham) - Tap the Triangle presents this exciting 1-hour kayak trip, followed by lunch and a visit to two local craft breweries on Saturday. The trip takes off from Beer Study in Durham and then to the Haw River in Saxapahaw.

Axe Throwing League (Neuse River Brewing, 518 Pershing Rd, Raleigh) - Learn more about Raleigh's first axe throwing league during this meeting on Sunday.

Pop-Up Raleigh (Trophy Brewing, 656 Maywood Avenue, Raleigh) - This monthly vintage and art market is Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. There will be more than 50 vendors, food trucks, beer and fresh popcorn.

Pints for Pups (Gizmo Brew Works, 5907 Triangle Drive, Raleigh) - Join Adopt4Love Pets and Chihuahua Rescue & Transport for this fundraiser at Gizmo Brew Works on Saturday. There will be hot dogs, food trucks, Gizmo beer, raffles, pet photography and live music.

She came with Julia and Nancy Loepz, who said "We come to the park all the time, but this was the first time we've come (to the easter egg hunt). We're planning on coming every year and making it a tradition. The kids had a lot of fun, and it was fun for all ages-- three, one, six, and ten."

Movies by Moonlight (Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - See a screening of "Cars 3" on Friday night. Admission is $5 and children under 12 are admitted for free. A portion of the Movies By Moonlight proceeds will benefit the WakeMed Children’s hospital.
