A Morrisville man won $214,754 from a $1 Cash 5 ticket.
Festos Matunda won the jackpot on Saturday night after buying a lucky Quick Pick ticket at the Quality Mart on Presidential Drive in Durham.
He matched all five numbers to win the jackpot. The odds of matching numbers on all five white balls are 1 in 962,598, according to the North Carolina Education Lottery.
After taxes, Matunda took home $153,553.
