Virginia man shot, killed in Roanoke Rapids
Police said Jamari Dejon Haskins was shot on Madison Street in Roanoke Rapids just after midnight.
A man was shot and killed in Roanoke Rapids on Tuesday.
Police said Jamari Dejon Haskins was shot at a home on Madison Street just after midnight. Officers found several people there in addition to Haskins' body.
There is no known motive for the shooting. Haskins was 18 and lived in Chesapeake, Virginia. Police are investigating as a homicide.
Investigators are struggling to find information from people in the neighborhood.
