United Airlines flight arrives safely at RDU after unexpected landing

Sky 5 flew overhead Wednesday as a United Airlines flight made an unexpected landing at Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

United Flight 654, which was headed to Dulles International Airport in Virginia, landed safely at RDU just before 10:45 a.m.

Flight Aware tracking shows the flight left Austin, Texas, at 7 a.m. CST.

Sky 5 video shows as the plane stops on a runway, where emergency vehicles met the plane.
