Two people were killed in a car accident Sunday evening on U.S. Highway 70 in Durham.
One car was traveling southbound on U.S. 70 when it hydroplaned and collided head-on with a car traveling northbound. A third car ran into one of the cars that had already crashed.
Both drivers from the initial crash died. Their identities are unknown.
The driver and passenger of the third car are being treated for injuries at Duke Medical Center. WRAL News is working to learn their conditions.
