Two injured in Raleigh shooting at intersection of Haywood Street and Hay Lane

Raleigh police are investigating a shooting that injured two people on Thursday evening.

Around 7:15 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Haywood Street and Hay Lane.

When they arrived, they couldn't find any victims at the scene.

Investigators later learned that two people were taken to the hospital by private vehicle.

A woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while the man had serious injuries.

The police are still searching for the suspect(s) and have not made any arrests.
