Two arrested after teen killed in shooting at Cook Out in Dunn
Dunn police have charged two suspects in a fatal shooting at a Cook Out on Friday.
Officials said Christopher McNeill, 22, of 811 S. Magnolia Ave. in Dunn was arrested and charged with murder. A 17-year-old was also charged with murder, but due to age, his name was not released.
Police said the charge came after a fight spilled out of the Cook Out on W. Cumberland St. in Dunn. It continued into a nearby parking lot. Police said the shooting happened there and the victim, who has not been identified, was rushed to the hospital.
WRAL's Sloan Heffernan reports the victim is Jaheim Currie, a current junior at Clinton High School. Multiple sources, included a tweet from Clinton High School, confirmed the victim's identity.
