Raleigh police closed three lanes of Peace Street between Capital Boulevard and Glenwood Avenue early Thursday after a tractor-trailer struck a railroad bridge.

Authorities responded to the area at about 6:40 a.m. and closed both westbound lanes and one eastbound lane of the road for about two hours.
