Tickets going fast for JC Raulston Arboretum's popular Moonlight in the Garden

JC Raulston Arboretum's popular Moonlight in the Garden starts this weekend, and several nights already are sold out.

The evening event features the garden all lit up with a variety of custom designed installations. There also will be food trucks, live music, marshmallows and fire pits. There's usually a quick craft for kids too. I wrote about it last year. It's a low-key way to kick off the holiday season.

The event runs 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Nov. 7 to Nov. 9 and Nov. 14 to Nov. 16. At last check, Nov. 8 and Nov. 9 already were sold out.

Tickets are $20 and $5 for kids 12 and under. The arboretum, part of NC State University, is at 4415 Beryl Rd., Raleigh, near the NC State Fairgrounds.
