Three North Carolina men are facing dozens of charges after police say they were responsible for a string of store break-ins and larcenies from December to March.

At least 11 businesses in the Winston-Salem area were targeted by the group of men and an estimated $285,000 worth of property was stolen, police said.

Donald Wayne McGee, Bobby Joe Tilley and Harley Dale Shinault are facing dozens of charges, including felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering. McGee has also been charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

The three men would enter businesses by prying open doors or breaking glass, authorities said.

"Once inside they would steal money, jewelry, auto parts, poker machines [and] ATM machines," according to a Facebook post from the Winston-Salem Police Department.

On March 11, Winston-Salem police officers stopped McGee and Tilley in their car and found that they had outstanding warrants. Both men were arrested after the traffic stop, police said.

The U.S. Marshals Service found their partner, Shinault, near Huntersville on March 31. Shinault was being held in jail under a $1.2 million bond.

Investigators said in the Facebook post that more charges are possible.
