Theatre Raleigh opens 'Peter Rabbit and His Friends' Friday

Theatre Raleigh will open its fall family show - The Adventures of Peter Rabbit and His Friends - this weekend.

The 55-minute play, best for kids in kindergarten to fifth grade, weaves together five tales from the classic by Beatrix Potter, who overcame her own lonely and strict childhood to become one of the most popular children's authors of all time.

The show opens Friday and runs on select days until Oct. 21 at the Duke Energy Center for Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh. Go Ask Mom will be at the 2 p.m., Oct. 14, show with some special activities. Stay tuned for more details on that!

Tickets are $10 for kids and $15 for adults.
