The Southern Ideal Home show sparks imagination

The Southern Ideal Home show happening this weekend at the State Fairgrounds.

The annual event gives homeowners and future homeowners a chance to imagine the possibilities.

The exhibits include home improvement ideas as well as DIY projects.

It gave one couple a chance to test out some outdoor furniture they've been meaning to buy.

“We are looking at patio ideas, furniture, and we ended up buying a bed today,” said Jean McCall, who attended the show Saturday. “We didn’t plan on doing that, so it’s been fun.”

The show continues Sunday at the State Fairgrounds, from 11am to 6pm.
