Teenager shot to death in Goldsboro neighborhood

A teenager has died after being shot in Goldsboro on Friday night.

Goldsboro police responded to a ShotSpotter alert for multiple gunshots near Hugh Street around 9 p.m.

A 17-year-old male had been shot.

The teen's identity has not been released.

Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide and say the investigation is on-going.
