Sweet Talk Cafe is a locally-owned coffee shop in Apex, North Carolina, that specializes in Asian-inspired desserts and specialty drinks. The beginning of Sweet Talk Cafe
Lim said, "Sweet Talk Cafe has been in the works since around 2020 and then Covid hit and all the planning was halted for a bit."
Sweet Talk was finally able to open to the public in May of 2023. "We're a small business, Asian owned and woman owned, and we just wanted to introduce something new to the community," she said.
Caffeine fix with a side of flavor
While the desserts steal the spotlight, Sweet Talk Cafe also takes its coffee and tea seriously. They offer a coffee and tea service that caters to connoisseurs of both beverages. "Our coffee is in partnership with Black and White Coffee Roasters, which is local to Raleigh," Lim said.

"We wanted to bring something special as well as something that's really presentable to the neighborhood," Lim said.
