Still searching for the right school for your kids? Check out this open seat report for Wake County

It may still feel like the beginning of summer, but the school year is fast approaching. And if you haven't found a school home for your student yet, you might want to check out SchoolUp Wake's Open Seat report.

SchoolUp Wake is the brainchild of Libby Taylor, a Raleigh mom of three who has worked in education for most of her career. SchoolUp is a school selection business that provides advice and support for parents as they make school decisions for their kids. I featured her back in October 2020.

The Open Seat Report provides information about private schools, charter schools and magnet schools in Wake County that currently have openings for students. It includes open spaces for elementary, middle and high school students.

"I am working to add schools to this as well and update it regularly over the summer," Taylor tells me. "With so many people moving here and so many capped schools, this has been a super helpful resource to a lot of families I work with and the Realtors I partner with."
