The State Employees' Credit Union said it has resolved bank account problems customers experienced Saturday that resulted in duplicate charges on debit card transactions.

Some customers reported negative balances in their accounts.

Many took to social media to voice their frustration.

One Facebook user posted, "Check your SECU account! They have done double charges to my account putting it into the negative."

Another user expressed their outrage, saying, "This is ridiculous! I can't even purchase groceries for my family because the bank messed up my account."

SECU acknowledged the issue in a statement, saying: "SECU has experienced an error processing a file that has resulted in duplicate posting of some debit card transactions. We are working to resolve the issue and will post updates to our website and social media. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our members."
