Snorkeler hospitalized after incident in pool at Cary Lifetime Fitness

A man is in critical condition after an attempt to snorkel in the pool at a Cary gym.

The emergency call to Lifetime Fitness, at 1700 Regency Parkway, came in just before 4:30 p.m.

Authorities said a man was snorkeling in the outdoor pool there, in about four feet of water, when others noticed that he was not breathing.
