Six people hospitalized after shots fired through wall of Lumberton bar

Six people were injured Wednesday night after someone fired shots through a wall of a bar, Lumberton police said.

Around 11:44 p.m. Wednesday, Lumberton police officers found a woman shot inside Adelio’s Restaurant and Bar at 111 West 3rd St. EMS took her to an area hospital. Five others, two men and three women, were injured during the gunfire and received treatment at the hospital, according to the police.

Based on the police's investigation, the shooter shot into the back wall of Adelio’s from Second Street. Police said the bullets went through the wall striking and injuring people inside.

As of Thursday morning, Lumberton police have not announced any people of interest or made any arrests.
