Silver Alert canceled for 78-year-old Fuquay-Varina man

Update: The Silver Alert was canceled at 5:30 a.m.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons on Wednesday issued a Silver Alert for 78-year-old Jerry Lee Denault.

Denault is described as a white man who stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds.

He has short, gray hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a navy blue collared shirt, blue jeans and eyeglasses.

He was last seen at 208 Crestfield Drive in Fuquay-Varina and may be headed toward Raleigh in a brown 2015 Ford F150 with N.C. license plate HMA-7994.
