Silk Hope FD investigating overnight fire

A fire broke out overnight at a Chatham County home.

According to a dispatcher in Chatham County, a call went out a 2:23 a.m. for a fire on the 1300 block of Arthur Teague Road in Siler City.

Six fire crews responded to the fire, with the Silk Hope Fire Department leading the investigation.

According to the dispatcher, the scene is still active, but the fire is out.

There is currently no word on home many people were injured or displaced.
